Position: Concrete Pump Operator
Reports To: Foreman
Job Family: Technical
Job Scope
The Concrete Pump Operator will complete the delivery of ready-mix concrete at various job sites.
Role and Responsibilities
- Complete the association paperwork involved when operating a concrete pump truck.
- Be responsible for washing, greasing/oiling, refuelling, and replenishing water tanks in preparation for the next use.
- Complete minor repairs and service as required depending on experience.
- Must have a positive attitude and drive in a safe and professional manner.
Working Conditions
- This position requires a flexible schedule with shift work and an emphasis on safety.
- Must be pro-active, mentally alert, energetic, fit.
- Largely independent work.
Qualifications
- Attention to detail, punctuality and a focus on safety are vital.
- experience with operating heavy duty equipment it will be viewed favourably.
- Requires a valid Class 3 Driver's License with Airbrake Endorsement.
- Experience operating a concrete pump truck is an asset but training will be provided.
