INSTRUCTOR
STEAMFITTER / PIPEFITTER
Keyano College is currently seeking an experienced, self-motivated individual to become an Instructor in our Steam Fitter / Pipe Fitter Department in the Trades and Heavy Industrial Training Division. This is a full time, permanent position commencing as soon as a suitable candidate is found.
The successful candidate will be required to instruct, evaluate and develop students in all aspects of the Steamfitter / Pipefitter trade, including the use of extensive theory and shop delivery methods of all 4 levels of the Alberta Steamfitter / Pipefitter Apprenticeship program and related duties. The development and instruction of specific courses in the Steamfitter / Pipefitter trade as requested by industry.
QUALIFICATIONS: Dual certification as an Alberta Journeyman / Inter-provincial Red Seal Steamfitter / Pipefitter & Welder preferred. Preference may be given to those candidates who possess "B" Pressure Certification. Instructional experience would be a definite asset. A valid class five driver's license is required for this position.
SALARY: To be negotiated, plus an attractive benefits package. Placement on the salary scale will be dependent upon education and experience.
