WELDER RECERTIFICATION EXAMINER/INSTRUCTOR
The Trades & Heavy Industrial Division of Keyano College is currently seeking a knowledgeable, experienced Welding Examiner/Instructor. This is a full-time permanent position commencing as soon as suitable candidate is found.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will be required to provide practical Welder Recertification Examination for ABSA and CWB recertification. Some development and instruction of industry specific courses may also be required.
QUALIFICATIONS: Alberta/Red Seal Journeyperson Welding certificate and "B" pressure certification. Candidates must have a minimum of:
- CSA 178.2 Weld Inspector Level 2
- W47.1 & W59 codes certification.
- And/or ABSA Welding Examiner Certificate of Competency
Dual certification, pressure vessel and structural steel experience would be a definite asset and preference will be given to those with instructional/recertification experience.
SALARY: To be negotiated plus an attractive benefits package. Placement on the salary scale will be dependent upon certification and experience.
