HEAVY DUTY TECHNICIAN
(C.U.P.E. - TR6)
The Equipment Maintenance Department at the Suncor Energy Industrial Campus of Keyano College is currently seeking a Heavy Duty Technician. This is a full-time permanent position commencing immediately.
Reporting to the Associate Dean of the Trades and Heavy Industrial Division, the Heavy Duty Technician will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all Keyano College's Equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS: Grade 12 preferred with an Alberta/Provincial Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician Certificate, with a minimum of three years' experience in the maintenance and repair of off-highway heavy duty equipment, trucks and trailers. A valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's License is required and having a Class 1 Alberta Driver's License and/or a ticket to certify vehicles would be considered definite assets. Preference may be given to those candidates possessing a dual ticket. 4th year Heavy Duty Apprentice may also be considered. Good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are required. This position may require performing duties away from Fort McMurray.
SALARY: $65,891 per annum plus an attractive benefits package.
