We are currently looking for Financial Advisors at our 2nd Fort McMurray location.
This position is responsible for developing mutually beneficial personal banking relationships with our members. You excel at recognizing and acting upon sales opportunities for opening/closing accounts, taking credit applications, and for selling investment and insurance products.
Principal Duties:
- Providing exceptional service to members at all times while becoming fully conversant with all products, services, policies and procedures
- Recognizing, identifying and closing sales opportunities
- Taking membership and credit applications from members (includes credit investigations, appraisals, checks & verification of employment and income, and other activities necessary for Loan approvals)
- Conducting administrative duties with other Financial Advisors on the total branch portfolio of products and services
- Achieving individual sales and setting monthly professional goals
Qualifications:
- Training in credit with experience in direct credit granting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven sales track record
- Post secondary education preferred with enrolment in the CFP or PFP programs
- Completed IFIC or ICB Investment Funds course is desirable
- Demonstrated accuracy and genuine desire to work with people
