• Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
• Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Communication Electrician Trade Certification, 1st Period Apprentice, 2nd Period Apprentice, 3rd Period Apprentice, Not required
• Experience: Experience an asset
• Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
• Major Work Area: Installation, Repair
• Type of Establishment Experience: Telecommunications company
• Type of Equipment: Single line, Fibre optic line
• Additional Skills: Read blueprints, Work at heights or in confined spaces, Complete and maintain test and service records, Instruct apprentices
• Security and Safety: Bondable, Basic security clearance, Criminal record check, Drug test, Driver's validity license check
• Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots
• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Ability to distinguish between colours, Bending, crouching, kneeling
• Work Site Environment: Outdoors, At heights
• Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence, Own transportation, Vehicle supplied by employer
