Regional Emergency Services Department
This is a permanent full-time position, working forty (40) hours per week.
Under the general supervision of the Emergency Apparatus Technician I, the Emergency Apparatus Technician II will be required to perform skilled Journey level work in the mechanical repair and maintenance of municipally owned gasoline and diesel vehicles and other auxiliary equipment. The Emergency Apparatus Technician II may from time to time be required to travel throughout the Municipality to service fire apparatus and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Three (3) to five (5) years experience in the vehicle maintenance service industry.
- Alberta Journey Certification Heavy Equipment Technician Truck and Transport, and/or Alberta Journey Certification Automotive Service Technician.
- Valid Class three (3) & four (4) Alberta Drivers License [with Q endorsement];
- Valid First Aid Certification;
- Valid Basic Cardiac Life-support [CPR] Certification;
- Salary $38.13 per hour
