Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Receive and allocate incoming mail and redirect calls and inquiries to appropriate employees
  2. Assist with following up for site requirements for existing/ new officers
  3. Organize meeting logistics to ensure all necessary materials and equipment have been prearranged
  4. Provide administrative support as required
  5. Maintain phone lists and a filing system
  6. Manage the office inventory of equipment and supplies through the use of spreadsheets and inventory software
  7. Manage uniform storage and ordering
  8. Assist with entry screening for interviews
  9. Respond to public inquires with a high level of professionalism
  10. Other duties as required, subject to change as necessary

Requirements:

  • Administrative experience and/ or appropriate education in Office Administration and/ or Human Resources (i.e., certificate, diploma, degree)
  • A valid Alberta Security License
  • A valid class 5 (minimum, no GDL)
  • Proven maturity to effectively handle and prioritize competing demands with short deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Pleasant telephone etiquette and outstanding customer service skills
  • High regard for accuracy and attention to detail
  • Significant experience with Microsoft Office
  • A proven attendance record
  • An ongoing interest in training and personal development
