Responsibilities:

  • The Client Support Specialist is responsible for contributing effectively to the success of the Sales Division by actively seeking out new clients, supporting existing clients, and effectively communicating information between different functionalities of Tridon.
  • The representative will also develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and continually maintain a professional image of the company through Integrity, passion, and in-person presentational skills.
  • Perform professional presentations or demonstrations of company product(s)/service(s)
  • Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within client base
  • Overcome objections of prospective customers
  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports
  • Participate in sales incentive programs and weekly sales meetings
  • Monitor competition by gathering market data and customer information
  • Build and execute proactive sales plans
  • Advise customers and other staff on forthcoming product developments and special promotions
  • Continuous learning of new and upcoming products, technologies, and market trends
  • Periodically conduct information-only presentations, such as seminars, trade show demonstrations, and other efforts
  • Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and services, competitor activities, and other research
  • Answer customer phone calls in a prompt manner
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workplace
  • The Client Support Specialist reports directly to the Sales Manager. The incumbent also works directly with:
  • Analyze customer needs, and offer effective solutions
  • Identify and recommend areas for process improvement
  • Work independently with little supervision
  • The Client Support Specialist will work in an office environment and must comply with the company dress code. Travel may be required and site requirements must be adhered to when applicable.

Requirements:

  1. Strict adherence to Tridon’s Policies, HS&E requirements and Quality Management system requirements are paramount to this position.
  2. High School Diploma
  3. 2 – 5 years of inside and outside telecommunications sales experience
  4. Knowledge of products and services offered by Tridon Communications
  5. Solid and proven reputation for achieving and exceeding sales targets
  6. Valid Alberta Class 5 Operator’s License or equivalent
  7. Recent Driver’s Abstract will be required upon condition of employment
  8. Proficient in computer application programs such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  9. Excellent verbal and written communication
  10. Strong organizational and time management skills
  11. Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas
  12. Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-visit planning, call control, account development, and time and territory management
  13. Strong knowledge of current demographics and sales cycles
  14. Exceptional verbal communications and presentation skills
  15. Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  16. The Client Support Specialist must be able to spend 60% travelling, 30% of the day sitting and/or standing, and 10% lifting boxes up to 30lbs. The incumbent will be also required to look at a computer screen for long periods of time.
