Position Type/ Hours:

This is a permanent full-time position working forty (40) hours per week.
|
|
Position Description:
|
Under general supervision, will monitor disposal operations to ensure compliance with Municipal By-Laws, Provincial and Federal Acts and Legislation, answer inquiries, maintain files, compile records and submit reports.
|
|
Qualifications:
|
· Grade twelve (12) or GED equivalent, supplemented by accredited training in Solid Waste Management.
· Proven knowledge of the Provincial/Federal/Municipal Regulations.
· Minimum of two (2) years within environmental discipline or solid waste operations.
· Proven communication, interpersonal, investigative and organizational skills.
· Knowledge of or ability to acquire knowledge of relevant By-laws/Acts/Legislation.
· Valid class five (5) Alberta driver's license (clear driving record an asset).
· Must be medically and physically fit to perform all of the duties on an ongoing basis.

$29.80 (Probationary Rate)
$32.59 - $34.80 (Permanent Rates)
|
