Position Type/ Hours:
|
This is a temporary position working forty (40) hours per week for approximately four (4) months.
|
|
Position Description:
|
Under close supervision, perform general labourer duties required in the maintenance of parks, playgrounds and school grounds, cemeteries and other parks and recreation facilities. Perform various duties using small hand and power tools and equipment, including whips and push mowers.
|
|
Qualifications:
|
· Grade eleven (11) or twelve (12).
· A valid Alberta Class five (5) Alberta drivers’ license is required.
· Successful completion of a RCMP Criminal Record Check.
· Must communicate effectively and understand instruction and safety procedures.
· Must be medically and physically able to perform, on an ongoing basis all of the duties of this position and in all weather conditions.

In addition to the rate of pay, we offer other attractive incentives:

-an additional bi-weekly payment of $480 which represents a cost of living allowance
