We invite you to consider our opportunity for a Human Resources Advisor – Recruitment. This position has a variety of tasks including:
· Recruitment: all levels: screen resumes, lead interviews, conduct reference checks and write and issue offer letters, contracts for employment and RFPs. Work with recruiting Departments to identify best locations and methods of advertising to maximize exposure. Document attraction, recruitment and retention processes, tracks and maintains statistical data, revise policies and guidelines based on best practices.
· Research, assist with the development and implementation (based on best practices for continuous improvement), effective recruitment and retention strategies, tools, administrative directives and guidelines, to promote the RM as an employer of choice.
· Mentor, coach, transfer knowledge and provide support to HR staff and Leaders with regards to attraction/retention processes and innovative recruitment alternatives.
· Establish and maintain effective working relationships with our strategic partners to develop and actively participate in joint initiatives to attract and retain employees.
· Provide other HR services, e.g., lead exit interview process, track recruitment and retention data and etc. as required.
· Labour Relations: Provide advice on employee issues and interpret collective agreements, administrative directives and guidelines as they relate to our recruitment/selection processes.

Qualifications:
|
You will possess an undergraduate degree in Human Resources or a Human Resources Diploma with five (5) years of extensive experience. Other success factors include: effective communication, problem solving, interpersonal, mediation and negotiation competencies. Proficient in various computer software applications. CHRP designation is preferred. Previous HR experience is required; experience in a unionized environment is an asset.

Salary Range:

$87,762 (Starting Range) - $111,913
|
|
|
