Job Description
To support growth throughout PTI Oilsands Division, we require Executive Chefs
Reporting to a Lodge Manager, the successful candidates responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating an efficient and profitable kitchen
- Leading, directing and overseeing the day-to-day activities of Chefs, Bakers, Cooks and other kitchen staff
- Managing, supervising and training staff
- Budgeting and effectively controlling food costs
- Planning, developing and testing menus to accommodate and satisfy the expectations of clients
- Promoting adn ensuring staff adhere to workplace safety regulations
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Cook designation
- Exceptional leadership and management skills
- Ability to develop and motivate staff to achieve goals
- Experience in managing a unionized work force
- Passion for providing excellence in customer service
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Good analytical & problem solving skills
- Good business acumen, including budgeting and inventory control skills
