Salary: $26.45 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Other Benefits, Medical Benefits, Dental Benefits, Group Insurance Benefits
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta (3 vacancies )
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate, H2S (Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness) Training, First Aid Certificate, WHMIS Certificate, Confined Space Entry Training, Chainsaw Safety Training
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Type of Construction: Industrial, commercial and institutional
Equipment and Machinery Experience: Circular saws
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Specific Skills: Load, unload and transport construction materials, Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction, Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract)
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Dusty
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence, Public transportation is not available
Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing
