Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic Trade Certification, 3rd Period Apprentice, 4th Period Apprentice
Experience: 5 years or more
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Major Work Area: Repair, Maintenance, Service
Type of Equipment Repair: Heavy trucks, Oilfield drill rig engines, Bulldozers, Graders, Dump trucks
Mechanical Repair Specialization: Mechanical transmissions, Hydraulic transmissions
Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Specific Skills: Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work, Verify and repair emission control systems
Additional Skills: Welding experience
Security and Safety: Bondable, Driving record check (abstract)
Work Location Information: Willing to relocate
