• Title: Guest Service Agent
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, On Call, Shift, Weekend, Day, Night, Evening
• Salary: $14.00 to $16.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week
• Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible 
• Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta (1 vacancy) 

• Education: Completion of high school
• Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not applicable
• Experience: Experience an asset
• Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
• Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Multi-line switchboard, Computerized reservation system, Hotel Soft, Basic computer skills (will train), General office equipment
• Work Setting: Hotel
• Type of Bookkeeping and Accounting: Basic record keeping, Cashiering
• Specific Skills: Register arriving guests and assign rooms, Process group arrivals and departures, Take, cancel and change room reservations, Process telephone calls, Provide information on hotel facilities and services, Provide general information about points of interest in the area, Provide information about services available in the community, Arrange services required for guests with special needs, Process wake-up calls, Store and retrieve luggage, Investigate and resolve complaints and claims, Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments, Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms, Maintain occupancy statistics, Customer service oriented, Follow emergency and safety procedures, Work with minimal supervision, Clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying), Keyboarding, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning
