The Suncor Educational Technology Centre at Keyano College is currently seeking an energetic, innovative, customer-oriented, and experienced individual to assume the responsibilities of this instructional support position. This is a full-time, permanent position commencing immediately.
Reporting to the Chair of SETC, the Media Services Specialist is responsible for maintaining media services for Keyano College including data projectors, audio systems, video conferencing, and video editing. An ability to develop website, interactive learning activities and CD-ROMs/DVDs to support the process of teaching learning is highly desirable. In addition, you will assist other SETC team members in developing and delivering instructional materials to College faculty and staff relating to software packages such as Microsoft Office.
QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computing Science, Instructional Technology or Instructional Design or other similar related areas with 2 years' work experience in similar work environment. A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered. The successful candidate will possess strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office software applications. The ability to learn quickly, work individually and within a team environment, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills and a valid driver's license are required. Custom service experiences would be a definite asset.
SALARY: $53,103 per annum plus an attractive benefits package.
