Instructional Support Technologist
Software & Technology Trainer

The Suncor Educational Technology Centre at Keyano College is currently seeking an innovative, customer-oriented, and experienced individual to assume the responsibilities of this instructional support position. This is a full-time, permanent position commencing immediately.
This position is responsible for the technical support of instructors completing development work in an online environment. As the Instructional Support Technologist, you will have developed websites, interactive learning activities and CD-ROM's/DVD's to support the process of teaching and learning. An exciting aspect of this position includes development of interactive multimedia for desktop, CD-ROM and Internet distribution. To do this, you need to have experience using FLASH, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Authorware and Director. In addition, you will develop and deliver instructional materials to College faculty and staff relating to software packages such as Microsoft Office. Knowledge of video conferencing and audio-visual equipment is considered an asset.
QUALIFICATIONS: Related Bachelor's Degree or an Applied Bachelor's Degree in Computing Science, Instructional Technology, Instructional Design or other related field with preferably 2-3 years'work experience in similar work environment. The successful applicant will be a highly motivated individual possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills and possess the demonstrated ability to work in a team oriented work environment. Creativity and strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills are required for this position. Previous teaching experience is desired.
SALARY: $58,949 per annum plus an attractive benefits package.
