• Title: HSE Specialist
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, On Call, Shift, Overtime, Weekend, Day, Evening
• Salary: To be negotiated, Other Benefits
• Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible 
• Location: 90 kms North of Fort McMurray, Alberta (1 vacancy) 

• Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
• Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Association for Canadian Registered Safety Professionals Certification
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
• Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
• Type of Inspection and Investigation: Pollution monitoring programs, Chemical containment, Hazardous products handling and storage, Workplace, Work related accidents
• Work Setting: Manufacturing and industrial plant
• Specific Skills: Conduct surveys and monitoring programs of the natural environment, Inspect spills of hazardous chemicals or products, Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards, Investigate workplace accidents or illnesses
• Additional Skills: Provide information to employers, employees and general public
• Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence
• Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Dangerous
• Work Location Information: Remote location
• Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Sound discrimination, Sitting, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Large workload
