Open Position/Description
 
Position Purpose: Ensures effective training of field operations and sales employees by scheduling, conducting and monitoring corporate and regional training programs. Participates in and evaluates training assessments to meet business plans and promote continual improvement.
 
Position Summary:

• Meets organizational training requirements by effectively delivering field operations and sales training. Promotes understanding by presenting new hire orientation and other general employee information sessions.
• May assist in conducting basic, user-level training for automated systems.
• Ensures training compliance by organizing, scheduling and tracking company and regional training programs.
• Advises managers of required training for their employees.
• Participates in training needs assessments and monitors training results through employee progress.
• May assist in the modification or development of regional training initiatives.
• Provides training administration support by organizing, collecting and distributing course materials as appropriate.
• Reports metrics on effectiveness and completion of training programs.
• Coordinates with external vendors in delivery of training courses or workshops.
• Tracks and reports training expenses to budget.
• Manages the Learning Management System (LMS) by tracking and maintaining training records.
• Provides oversight and coordination for internal training development programs such as the Management Trainee, Driver and inside/outside sales development programs.
• Develops and maintains training and industry knowledge by reading internal and external professional publications and by pursuing opportunities to better understand field operations and sales jobs.
