• Title: Computer Communications Technician  
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day
• Salary: $36.19 to $38.77 Hourly for 35 hours per week, As per collective agreement
• Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible 
• Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta  

• Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
• Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
• Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
• Area of Specialization: Operation
• Type of Industry Experience: Building services
• Type of Equipment, Systems and Controls Experience: Telecommunication systems, Data communication equipment and systems
• Specific Skills: Install, maintain and service equipment, Assist in inspecting, testing and adjusting electronic components, Provide technical support to marketing and sales
• Computer an Technology Knowledge: Windows, MAC, DOS, Networking software, Networking hardware, Networking security , Extranet, Intranet, Internet, Servers, Applications - desktop, Electronic scheduling software, Programming software, Database software
• Work Location Information: On-site customer service
• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Sitting
• Security and Safety: Bondable, Basic security clearance, Criminal record check
